Feargal de Freine
Feargal is an EY Ireland Assurance Partner. In that role, he serves as the lead EMEA audit partner for some of EY’s largest multinational clients, with a particular focus on the life sciences sector.
He also co-leads EY’s Global Reporting Center of Excellence, serving many US-headquartered client accounts by providing governance and insight to the execution of the global statutory audit portfolio. Prior to joining EY as a partner in 2016, he spent 12 years with a US Fortune 500 life sciences company, with his last role being Vice President Finance for Western Europe, based in Switzerland.
Feargal has Bachelor of Commerce and Master of Accounting degrees from University College Dublin. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland, from which he also holds a Diploma in US GAAP.
