The state-of-the-art facility located in Leixlip, Co. Kildare, is the first in Europe to harness extreme ultraviolet lithography (EUV) for high-volume manufacturing, a significant leap forward in semiconductor production.

With the launch of Fab 34, Intel has commenced high-volume production of its Intel 4 technology which will power the most demanding computing applications, such as artificial intelligence (AI), autonomous driving, and new cloud applications. 

In its commitment to sustainability, Fab 34 stands as Ireland's largest LEED-certified construction, featuring an advanced ultra-pure water reclaim system that recycles process water for facility use. Moreover, 100% of the electricity used at Intel’s Leixlip campus is purchased from renewable sources.
